In October 2005 Stefan Nilsson out the first in-depth book on the subject published in Swedish. In the summer of 2010 came a second edition. Now the work on the third edition of course.
The 2005 edition was expanded to 28 pages and more than 150 new pictures so book now includes 256 pages facts and experiences based on real events and exercises. Several chapters were rewritten and adapted by the latest rules and principles of rescue and survival. The book also includes a new chapter on survival in the water as well as two new annexes on first aid and following search methods at sea.
In October 2014, work started on the third edition of the book that we now present. The 2015 edition is expanded with 12 pages is a review of the content and timeliness of the review were different types of information presented.
